Srinagar Jan 03 (KNS): The J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) General Secretary Mir Ruvais today slammed the lack of facilities in Children Hospital Srinagar and sought the intervention of LG J&K Manoj Sinha.
 
Expressing anguish over the lack of facilities especially non availability of MRI, CT Scan in Children Hospital Mir Ruvais termed the absence of health infrastructure very dangerous to precious lives of children undergoing treatment for various health issues and newborn babies, who require every medical facility under one roof during emergencies
He said the hospital authorities have also failed to arrange appropriate and functional lavatories for the attendants, besides the worst condition of the hospital parking creates more health issues for the patients and the people visiting hospital.
 
JKPCC General Secretary sought the intervention of LG J&K  Manoj Sinha urging him to seek  a detailed report from the Hospital authorities with regard to non-availability of infrastructure and other facilities and resolve these issues of urgent nature on priority basis.
 
Adding that Children Hospital needs to be fully equipped to deal with the  flow of patients  and other health challenges, Mir Ruvais said the irony is that the authorities concerned  seems non serious about the pressing health requirements in the hospital and demanded installation of MRI, CT Scan and macadamization of the Parking area on urgent basis.(KNS)
