Srinagar, 09 August (KNS): Senior EJAC Leader and Chairman JK Teachers forum Mohammad Rafique Rather has paid rich tributes to the renowned and legendary educationist Prof. Ashraf Agha Ali and described him a great luminary who all along worked for public enlightenment.
In a press statement Rafique Rather expressed deep shock and grief over the sad demise of renowned educationist and a distinguished scholar Prof. Agha Ashraf Ali,
termed the deceased a visionary who had dedicated his whole life in public enlightenment through the medium of education. Paying rich tributes to his illustrious life and unparalleled contribution in educational, social and political enlightenment Rafique Rather said that with Prof. Agha’s demise the J&K has lost a luminary and a torchbearer who chose to change the lives of people by bringing out their best and instilling confidence and values among them.

JK Teachers forum Chairman expressed his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and added that Prof. Agha’s passing away is not an irreparable loss for his family, friends and associates only but the same has created a huge void in Jammu &Kashmir’s intellectual circles which is difficult to be filled in near future. Rafique Rather said that in Prof. Agha's passing away , we have not only lost one of a best legendary, educationists and a social reformer but a great human being, a dedicated and caring individual, one of the great nation builders and a person who never gave up hope in spite of working in extremely adverse conditions.
