JK govt sacks 8 employees including 4 JKAS officers prematurely on charges of corruption

Srinagar, Oct 28 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir government on Thursday terminated the services of eight employees including four JKAS officers prematurely on charges of corruption, official sources said here.

Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) that the government has terminated eight employees prematurely on charges of corruption and misconduct.

They said that the employees including four JKAS officers and a former block medical officer have been sacked under Article 226 (2) of the Jammu Kashmir Civil Service Regulations Act.

Those who have been terminated include Ravinder Kumar Bhat, JKAS, Mission Director, RUSA J&K, Mohammad Qasim Wani, JKAS, Regional Director, Survey and Land Records, Srinagar, Noor Alam, JKAS Deputy Secretary, ARI & Training Department, Mohd Mujib-Ur-Rehman Ghassi, JKAS, presently under suspension, Dr. Fayaz Ahmad Banday, the then BMO, Beerwah, presently under suspension, Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, Jr. Assistant presently posted as incharge Supervisor, Chatha Store Jammu, FCS&CA Department, Rakesh Kumar Pargal, Jr. Assistant, presently under suspension, FCS&CA Department and Parshotam Kumar, Store Keeper, then posted at Pancheri Udhampur (presently working as Supervisor R.C Flour Mills Udhampur) FCS&CA Department.
