Srinagar, Feb 29 KNS): Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's upcoming visit to Kashmir on March 7, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has assured that all essential arrangements will be firmly established.
As per BJP leaders, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a rally in Srinagar on March 7.

The BJP has conducted exhaustive discussions on the preparedness for the event at its Srinagar headquarters on Thursday.

News agency KNS reported that top BJP leaders convened to meticulously review the plans for the PM's visit, ensuring every detail is meticulously addressed.

A BJP leader stated that Ravindra Raina, the BJP's Union Territory (UT) Chief, along with Ashok Koul, will lead a pivotal meeting on March 2 to further examine the preparations.

“This meeting aims to leave no stone unturned in ensuring that all aspects of the rally, including logistics, security, and crowd management, are thoroughly addressed. Both leaders are set to engage in comprehensive discussions with party officials to fine-tune arrangements for the PM's visit,”
With expectations running high, the BJP anticipates a massive gathering of over two lakh people at the PM's Srinagar rally.
According to party insiders, projections suggest a significant turnout, with over one lakh attendees expected from South Kashmir alone.

Similar numbers are anticipated from both Central and North Kashmir regions, highlighting the widespread support for the BJP in the area.

In addition to the highly anticipated rally in Srinagar on March 7, BJP sources hint at the possibility of Prime Minister Modi holding an election rally in Anantnag in the near future. However sources said that as of now PM Modi will only address the public rally in Srinagar.

This strategic move underscores the party's commitment to reaching out to voters across different constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir.

Meanwhile, sources reveal plans for the JK unit of the BJP to organize a rally featuring Home Minister Amit Shah in Surankote, Poonch, aimed at bolstering support in the Anantnag-Rajouri constituency.

A top BJP leader expressed optimism, stating, "We are expecting the top brass of BJP to visit Jammu and Kashmir and actively participate in public rallies ahead of the Lok Sabha elections."

However, the leader emphasized that these programs would proceed once the party's high command finalizes the candidates for the Lok Sabha constituencies.

The BJP's proactive approach in orchestrating these rallies underscores its determination to engage with voters and consolidate support in Jammu and Kashmir.

These rallies not only provide a platform for party leaders to address critical issues but also serve as an opportunity to galvanize grassroots support for the BJP's electoral endeavors in the region.

As anticipation mounts, all eyes are on PM Modi's forthcoming visit to the Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory.

The top leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir (JK) BJP have compiled a list of potential candidates for the Lok Sabha constituencies in J&K.

This list, compiled by the Election Committee of the Union Territory, has been submitted to the Party's high command for review.

However, the ultimate decision regarding the final candidates will be made following a thorough examination by the Party's National Election Committee and Parliamentary Board.

This crucial deliberation will take place during a high-level meeting in New Delhi, where the merits of each candidate will be meticulously discussed and evaluated before the final selections are confirmed.(KNS)
