Jio subscribers complain poor network, internet services in Rafiabad villages

Baramulla March 14 (KNS): The subscribers of private telecom company—Jio on Thursday complained about erratic calling and internet services in Waripora, Gund Waripora, Sangrapora, Chanam etc areas of Rafiabad area of Baramulla District.

Subscribers of the Jio cellular company from Waripora, Gund Waripora, Sangrapora, Chanam and its adjoining areas told reporters that they are facing immense problems due to erratic calling and internet services.

“We are unable to contact our near and dear ones as every time we dial the number, 
“Such a situation is being witnessed often on the Jio network,” the aggrieved residents said, adding that due to poor network, the call drop is taking place frequently and we face complete voice cutting, we face many problems and can't use mobile data, students are facing problems as they are unable to excess the internet for prepration of exams."

“We apprised the networking officials of the company about the erratic service many times, but no step was taken to address the issue,” they said.

Ever since the launching of the Jio service in the area, there have been complaints of poor signal but nothing was done by the concerned authorities to improve the situation.

The subscribers later appealed the higher ups of the cellular company to look into the matter and redress their grievance at earliest.(KNS)
