Handwara, May 15 (KNS) Joint Effort Trust (JET), a helping hand to poor and needy of north Kashmir's Handwara town on Friday appealed philanthropists to come forward in tough times.

A statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) said it is an undeniable fact that the condition of poor and labour class in these hard times have badly worsened and at this juncture it is collective duty of society to take care of needy one's around us.

JET said it has provided ration combos to more than 500 families of Langate and adjoining villages in Holy month of Ramadhan and added there are many more needy one's who is eagerly waiting for our help.

It appealed people that your contribution starting from Rs 10 will not only help to reach the needy one's but also encourage and boost our morals.
