Jammu, Dec 12 (KNS): Jammu and Kashmir Truck Operators Welfare Union has welcomed the government of not allowing outside trucks to load local goods from Jammu to Srinagar and vice-versa.
Addressing a press conference in Jammu, president of the Union Hilal Malik also said that there is no facility on the highway for truck drivers like toilets washrooms and other facilities.
He appealed the government to resolve the long pending issues of truck union so that drivers won’t suffer more.
“Outside registered trucks carrying goods in between two points is in violation of CMV rules,” he said. (KNS)
