J&K Students Association Delegation Calls on Secretary TAD and CEO Mission Youth, Discuss Issues Of Tribal Students

Srinagar july 27 (KNS): J&K Students Association delegation led by National Spokesperson Nasir Khuehami here today called on Secretary tribal affairs Department J&K and CEO Mission Youth Dr. Shahid Iqbal Choudhary in srinagar and apprised him about various issues of Tribal students in the J&K. 
 
During meeting with Shahid Choudhary, delegation shared various issues faced by the Tribal students including scholarship, coaching, revamping tribal education system and other youth related programs. 
 
Choudhary gave patient hearing to problems & assured that, all possible steps are being taken for them & student related issues studying in mainland would be looked into and addressed on merit with respective Govts including Special Grievance Cell. 
 
Assuring his full support in educational upliftment of the community, the Secretary Tribal affairs said that concrete measures are being taken to shape up the future of the students living in remote and far-flung areas. 
 
Choudhary said that, major initiatives for tribal students under Tribal plan and under Mission youth to be taken in coming time. He assured delegation that, under Mission youth J&K Public Library, First aid unit to be provided for each educational institution, Restoration of WiFi facilities in educational institutions, sports kits to be provided at village level clubs, drug de-addiction centre, grievance cell for youth to be set up in every district. 
 
He also informed that every district to get youth centre with amphitheatres, auditoriums as well adding that it would provide facilities like libraries, amphitheatres, auditoriums, creative studios, discussion rooms, skill labs and recreation rooms. It will not be a typical office type structure; rather it will be a facility for the youth and by the youth, he added.(KNS)
