J&K Bank sets up 20 currency exchange counters for Hajj pilgrims across Kashmir

 Srinagar, June 7 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Bank on Wednesday said thatit has set up more than 20 counters in the Kashmir Valley to provide foreign exchange service for the exchange of Indian currency into Saudi Riyals for Hajj Pilgrims.

 
Talking to Kashmir News Service (KNS) Syed Shafat Hussain Rufai, General Manager Communication & Digital Channels, J&K Bank said that like every year J&K bank has made substantial arrangements for the exchange of Indian currency into Saudi Riyals across the Kashmir region. 
 
He said that they have made the facility available at every district headquarters with four in Srinagar alone.
 
"To avail the exchange service, the Hajj pilgrims need to provide a Pan Card and passport xerox. In this service each pilgrim can avail up to 10,000 Riyals. Besides this they can also activate international usage on their JK Bank credit cards and can withdraw 1700 Saudi Riyals cash per day from ATM," he said. 
 
He added that they can shop for 4300 Saudi Riyals per day using a JK Bank debit card. (KNS)
