Prominent Loran activists join NC

Poonch, May 03 (KNS): Youth National Conference Provincial President Ajaz Jan on Thursday lambasted PDP-BJP government for abject neglect of rural, remote and border areas, saying the problems of people have accumulated during the past nearly four years.
Welcoming youth activists associated with various political parties in National Conference at Loran in Poonch, Jan said that instead of focusing on solving the problems of the people and keeping up commitments made during the elections, the insensitive dispensation is engaged in engineering divide and promoting hate politics.
He referred to the issues raised by local leaders and said these would be taken up with concerned for earnest action. He, however, expressed concern over administrative inertia due to lack of political directions and said this has manifested in governance deficit at ground zero, as a result of which essential and utility services continue to remain in dilapidated conditions.
Jan urged the administration to realize its responsibilities towards people and ensure basics, especially regulated supply of power and drinking water. He also sought adequate stocking and timely distribution of rations at PDS sale outlets.
