'PDP, BJP backstabbed people after securing votes from them'

Srinagar, Aug 22 (KNS): Reacting to the utterances of Arun Jaitely in Jammu rally yesterday, Congress today blamed Union Finance Minister for playing politics on the current unrest in order to regain the losses BJP has suffered in Jammu due to its unfriendly and wrong approach towards the people in Jammu Division after securing votes from them.
In a statement issued to KNS, JKPCC Spokesperson said it was not expected of Jaitely at this crucial time, when the valley is on boil for last 43 days, besides huge losses in shape of precious lives and properties valley has suffered due to the current unrest. It would have been advisable if Mr. Jaitely have talked of some proactive steps which the BJP Govt should take to put an end to current unrest, but this is unfortunate, he said something which can add more fuel to the fire.
The current unrest is actually an outburst against the politics of exploitation and the betrayal by PDP BJP Coalition with the people, both PDP and BJP backstabbed the people after securing votes from them, leading to their alienation. Mr. Jaitely should also have talked about the agenda of alliance between his Party and PDP in which they have promised a lot to people, but could not fulfill even a single promise so far.
Jaitely should have expressed serious concern and made a fervent appeal for maintaining calm, rather than saying something, which will aggravate the situation in the valley further. It is true that neither anyone is authorized to take law into their hands nor should be encouraged to do so, but he (Jaitely) should also understand the mishandling of the situation by the PDP BJP Coalition in the backdrop of protests erupted in valley resulted into loss of precious lives, injuries to thousands including security forces personnel, besides leaving scores blinded, remained cause behind the extremely volatile situation in the valley.
