Islamia High School continues free admission policy, scholarship for poor, orphans

Srinagar, Feb 07 (KNS): The decades-old Islamia High School Bota Kadal in Lal Bazar, Srinagar, run by Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam while advancing its educational mission across Kashmir has, this year too, announced free admission from Nursery to 10th standard.


The institution has informed the parents to make the future of their children bright by admitting them at an earliest in the school that offers computer, Arabic, religious and moral education along with the mainstream education.

The school also has a special provision of scholarship for orphans and very poor children, Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam said in a statement, adding that along with qualified and trained teachers, the institution is officially recognised by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education.

It said the school administration is also running a quarterly course of Arabic language teaching in the institution from 4 to 5 pm daily, in which teachers who are experts in the Arabic language and literature, provide training.

"This is a golden opportunity for aspiring general students, business community and youth who have passed at least matriculation and want to go to Arab countries for education, employment, livelihood and business."

It said the Anjuman Nusrat-ul-Islam will award a certificate to the students who complete the course. (KNS)
