Baramulla 28 February (KNS): As a compliance to orders of District Administration post declaration of one bird from chicken sale point positive for Birdflu, the Rapid Response Team (RRT) of Animal Husbandry Department led by Dr. Balbir Singh, Superintendent District.Veterinary Hospital along with Police party conducted Serviellance  of poultry outlets  in Iqbal Market Old Town Baramullah today.
 
Fortunately, few samples collected later on in the vicinity of Iqbal Market have tested negative for Bird Flu which has given respite to the Officers of Department and Administration.

Further, the poultry shops were santised and disinfected  by the frontline workers of Municipal Council  Baramulla. 

Dr. S. M. Anwar Andrabi, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer  is in constant touch with the district administration to safeguard the health of Public & appealed Public to co-operate.(KNS)
