Infiltration Attempts Foiled, Terrorists Entering India being Eliminated: J&K Police Chief

Srinagar, Aug 13(KNS): The Director General of Jammu and Kashmir Police, Dilbag Singh, Sunday said that most attempts by terrorists to infiltrate the region from across the border have been stopped while these terrorists, trying to cross over, were taken down by security forces.

Speaking during a "Tiranga Rally," Singh explained that this year's major clashes occurred while these infiltration attempts were happening. He proudly mentioned that all significant efforts to sneak across the border have been effectively foiled.

When asked about the number of terrorists in the area, Singh emphasized that staying watchful is crucial because Pakistan is using social media to attract young people. He expressed his satisfaction that more people are realizing that getting involved in militancy only leads to destruction.

Singh praised the youth who have chosen the peaceful path and congratulated them. He also pointed out that there are still some young people who need guidance to return to a peaceful life as part of the mainstream.

Singh stressed the importance of families staying alert and keeping an eye on their children. This way, they can make sure their children don't fall into the trap of Pakistan's harmful plans.(KNS).
