Srinagar, July 22 (KNS): Apni Party President Syed Muhammad Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to discuss the catastrophic situation arising from widespread flash floods, landslides, and heavy rains across Jammu and Kashmir.
In a post on X, Bukhari said he impressed upon the LG that the administration's foremost priority must be ensuring immediate relief, adequate compensation, and comprehensive rehabilitation for all affected individuals and families.
"I urged him that no victim is left behind and everyone receives timely assistance," Bukhari stated.
During the meeting, the Apni Party chief thanked the LG for ensuring the immediate release of State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) monies amid the crisis.
