Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNS): International Human Rights Organisation (IHRO) today said that they salute the strength, courage and resilience of Kashmiri women.
As per a statement issued to KNS IHRO organised award ceremony at Tagore Hall, which will be followed by a walkathon tomorrow along Dal Lake.
March 8 is observed as International Women's Day across the globe and is dedicated to honour social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.
The day also seeks to drive awareness around issues of gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence against women. (KNS)
