Advisor Baseer Khan assured that tourism would be revived by big way: Ghani


Srinagar, June 24:(KNS) Jammu and Kashmir Hoteliers’ Club (JKHC) said opening of the tourist spots and gardens will go a long way in providing confidence to the travellers which will help revive the tourism sector of the J&K.

Recently, In a Webinar held FICCI Kashmir, which was also attended by Advisor to LG Baseer A Khan, Secretary General J&KHC Tariq Rashid Ghani had suggested Advisor to open the gardens and tourist resorts so that inter-state tourism activities revive.

Ghani said the Advisor gave patient hearing to various suggestions regarding reviving tourism activities in the J&K and also assured that steps would be taken to ensure tourism is revived gradually.

“We had a fruitful webinar which focussed on gradual revival of the tourism sector. We are hopeful as soon as Covid recedes, tourism would pick up. Advisor Baseer Khan also assured that tourist spots and gardens would be gradually opened up,” he said.

Among officials, Secretary Tourism Zubiar Lone also attends the webinar besides the stalwarts of the tourism industry including Chairman J&K Hoteliers Club Mushtaq Chaya, CMD Lalit Group of Hotels Joytna Suri, Kachroo of Karsson Radisson, and Nasir Shah and Shamim Shah and Abdul Hamid Wangnoo.
