Srinagar, Mar 08 (KNS): A helpdesk to assist passengers was inaugurated at Srinagar International Airport on Tuesday on the occasion of International Women's Day. 

 

In a statement, issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), director airport said that the staff at Helpdesk is specially selected for their polite nature, helpful attitude, and knowledge of airport operations

 

Our staff will also be very helpful to people with special abilities because we are training them in sign language. The inauguration of the Helpdesk on the special occasion of the International Women’s Day is the icing on the cake," he said. 

 

He said that with this they have also added 16 jobs at the airport, thereby contributing to the economic development of Srinagar. (KNS)
