Handwara, May 28 (KNS): To show solidarity and support to COVID warriors, Handwara Police today facilitated doctors, paramedic staff, nurses and other frontline workers in Handwara.
According to KNS, Flowers and sweets were distributed among doctors and Paramedic staff across the district as a mark of love and respect for Medical fraternity with a message that Police holds frontline COVID warriors in a high esteem.
The move was initiated to honour the Doctors and Paramedic staff for their service. Handwara Police have also assured full cooperation to all essential services and reiterated its stand to render their service and support to all in these tough times.
It is to mention that the police had faced criticism for allegedly harassing doctors and para medical staff over the past few days.
A police official said police distributed flowers among the doctors at DH hospital Handwara as a mark of love and respect for them. (KNS)
