Handwara, May 01 (KNS): Gunshots were heard in Wadder Payeen forests of Rajwar in Handwara after forces launched CASO.
According to reports the search operation was launched by 21 RR of Army, 92 Batallion of CRPF and SOG of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Friday afternoon after getting the specific information about presence of militants in the area.
Reports also said that there was brief exchange of fire between the security forces and militants.
A senior official confirmed to KNS about the CASO and gun shots in the area and said the search operation in the area is going on (KNS)
