Grand plantation drive held in Baramulla’s Boniyar

Boniyar August 11 (KNS):  In a remarkable display of environmental commitment and unity, the Indian Army stationed in Boniyar Tehsil, Baramulla District, undertook a momentous plantation campaign on the eve of the 77th Independence Day. The campaign witnessed the planting of 77 deodar saplings, symbolizing the spirit of progress and growth that the nation has achieved over the years.


The initiative, organized by the Chinar Naujawan Club in Boniyar Tehsil, brought together various stakeholders including the Indian Army, local civil administration, SHO, Tehsildar, and other authoritative figures. The plantation drive not only underscored the significance of preserving the environment but also served as a tribute to the nation's journey towards self-reliance and prosperity.
