Govt plunging business fraternity in crises by keeping internet gagged in JK: Kadfeen

Srinagar, Sep 20 (KNS): Congress leader Kadfeen Choudhary has asked the government to take concrete measures in the restoration of high-speed internet in Jammu and Kashmir, stating that making 4G functional in mere two districts serve no purpose.
He said that the government should also lift curbs from 4G internet so that the people staying inside their homes could avail in the facility in teaching their kids and acquire maximum information about the COVID-19. “Keeping the internet gaged serves no purpose at all. The government without delay must restore the 4G internet for the greater common good. The prolonged gag is severely affecting kids education in view of the present circumstances,” said Kadfeen.
He added that on one hand, the government here is busy in the announcement of financial package to resolve crises in the ailing economy while as on the other hand, it is keeping 4G suspended which is causing immense losses to the business sector in more ways than one. “The government must lift these curbs and understand the situation on the ground. Doles and sops will not help the crises ridden business fraternity as much as restoration the basic facilities like the internet does,” said Kadfeen in a statement. (KNS)
