DCs to furnish updated inventory of Religious Minority Properties within week's time

 
 
Srinagar, April 7 (KNS): After SIT probe into illegal lease of temple properties in the Kashmir Valley, government has asked all 10 deputy commissioners of the region to ascertain any such instances in the districts concerned and take appropriate necessary action. 

According to an order captioned "SIT Probe into illegal lease of temple properties in valley, Nexus in Temple properties being used illegally", divisional commissioner's office has asked DCs to ascertain any such instances in their districts. 

"I am directed to enclose herewith copy of communication along with its enclosures bearing O.M no. GAD-RMC/256/2022-LGRMC-GAD dated 20-05-2022 received from Lieutenant Governor's Secretariat References Monitoring Cell, Jammu & Kashmir with the request to ascertain any such instances in your district and take appropriate necessary action under rules with intimation to this office," reads the order. 

As per the order DCs have been asked to furnish the updated inventory of Religious Minority Properties (Temple, Gurudawara, Others) to this office within week's time. (KNS)
