Srinagar, Apr 23 (KNS): Government Polytechnic College, Srinagar on Thursday presented a cheque of rupees one lakh to Deputy Commissioner Srinagar as a contribution towards Covid-19 pandemic fund.

According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), Principal GPC Srinagar Er Altaf Hussain Shala presented a cheque of rupees one lakh to Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary as a contribution towards Covid-19 pandemic fund.

At the occasion, Principal Govt. Polytechnic College Er Altaf Hussain expressed glad over the response of district administration towards dealings with current situation. “We are immensely grateful to the district administration who are at the front line to control this pandemic”, Hussain said.

He was accompanied by Er Sajad Ahmad Khan (HoD Civil Engineering), Er Parvaiz Ahmad Rather (HoD Wood Technology) and Muneer Ahmad Mir (Training and Placement Officer).

Deputy Commissioner Srinagar Dr Shahid Iqbal Chowdhary at the occasion expressed gratitude and praise for the efforts undertaken by Kashmir Government Polytechnic College, Srinagar towards the generous cause. (KNS)
