Orders to cut mulberry trees on Tral's only stadium issued: Officials

Tral: 11 June :Putting an end to the long pending demands of cricketers here pertaining to the pathetic condition of stadium, an order was issued on Thursday, asking concerned department to cut down the mulberry trees on Tral's lone stadium in Bajwani area.

Sources said that soon after the order was issued, sericulture department in Tral immediately ordered auction to the said trees.

The locals particularly cricketers have expressed pleasure after the order related to the cutting of mulberry trees in Bajwani stadium was issued today.

They thanked the concerned departments for their tireless efforts to make the cutting of mulberry trees possible, as the said trees used to be the hurdle for players while playing cricket matches there.

One of the cricketers has said that he was waiting for this day for last twenty years as the cutting of these mulberry trees was the main demand at all.

He said that all the cricket lovers must be rejoicing at their respective places after knowing about this news.

It is pertinent to mention here that in this connection, a team visited Tral today to ensure the process of cutting of these trees at the earliest.
