Ganderbal September 13:(KNS) Police in Ganderbal arrested two timber smugglers and seized illicit timber.

Officers from Police Station Lar headed by SHO have arrested two Timber smugglers and seized 29 logs of illicit Timber from their possession.

They have been identified as Zahoor Ahmed khan resident of Lar(B) and Muzaffar Ahmed khan resident of Gutlibagh wayil wodder and seized 29 logs of illicit Timber from their possession. They have been shifted to Police Station Lar where they remain in custody.

A case FIR No. 70/2020 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Lar & investigation into the matter has been initiated.

Our consistent actions against anti social elements should reassure the community members that we are making every effort to keep our society free of crime. Police has resolved to act as per law against those who indulge in criminal activities.(KNS)
