G.M.shaheen expresses concern over difficulties confront facing by people due to snowfall

Srinagar Jan 7:(KNS) The Jammu and Kashmir Janta dal united President G.M.shaheen has expressed anguish over the hardships confronting people living in Kashmir provance and elsewhere in Kashmir due to fresh snowfall, demanding that the electricity and road clearance especially in Baramulla kreri wagoora tangmarg , uri and bandipora and elsewhere in Kashmir be ensured, on war footing basis.

Mentioning that fresh snow fall in Kashmir and elsewhere in J&K has disconnected people from District headquarters especially those living in far off places in North Kashmir,

G.m.shaheen said that various far off paces were disconnected with their respective district headquarters, as reported by people, although various agencies and Municipal Committees have started their work early, but at the sametime, the Govt is required to speed up the work, besides gearing up agencies especially those managing electricity, road clearance, supply of essentials, medical facilities inorder to ensure respite to people.

I was appraised by various people about the situation and difficulties confronting them due to fresh snowfall and sought redressal of their grievances, Shaheen added.

Shaheen laid emphasizes over ensuring adequate supply of electricity, essentials and road clearance in upper reaches in south, North and elsewhere in Kashmir to ensure respite to people from the current bone chilling weather.(KNS)
