Srinagar, July 31(KNS): People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Zuhaib Yousuf Mir today said that BJP did not give anything to the people of Jammu and Kashmir it instead snatched every constitutional right from them.

Zuhaib Mir was addressing the function on eve of the party foundation day at Srinagar. Zuhaib was applauded by thousands of party workers when he said that the people of J&K are in a kind of mourning ever since 2019, when Article 370 and 35A were abrogate unilaterally and the historic state (J&K) was downgraded and divided into two UTs.

“The people are in a state of mourning and will remain in the same state of grief unless and until Article 370, 35A are restored,” Zuhaib said and added “we will not rest until our honour and dignity is restored.”

While terming Self rule the only future way out, Zuhaib said that it is not something out of the Indian constitution but only an extension of it. “Self rule does not contradict with the constitution but it is an extension of it to address J&K and its people,” Zuhaib said. It can vanish regionalism and every other divisive politics.
He dismantled BJP by saying the party has not given anything to the J&K, instead it has snatched everything from it.
“Our ILP was snatched in 1951, our PM was changed to CM, State has been changed into UT, 1987 elections were rigged, people lost their faith in democracy, the word secularism has lost its meaning, though it is in the constitution, still a propaganda is being made that J&K people have been given a lot,” Zuhaib said.

In the name of industrial development, Zuhaib said our land is being looted and whoever tries to raise questions, is being dubbed as anti-national!
Zuhaib asked BJP to go and meet the candidates whose examinations for different posts have been canceled. “All such poor candidates will tell you the real stories of corruption,” he said.
Zuhaib while lashing out at BJP said that it has started loot in the name of everything in J&K.

Terming PDP, the only hope of the people of J&K, Zuhaib impressed to strictly follow its programs and strengthen the hands of its respected president Mehbooba Mufti sahiba.(KNS).
