Former SMC mayor accuses NC, PDP of forging alliance with BJP

Srinagar, Jan 17 (KNS): Former deputy mayor SMC Sheikh Imran has accused PDP and NC of forging an alliance with the BJP while misleading the public with their gimmicks.

In a post on X, he said that Despite his year-long insistence on the covert alliance, it is now evident that there is a connection between BJP, NC & PDP being all now constituent members of PAGD.

He said that the collaboration includes NC, BJP, & PDP, collectively shaping the PAGD. The political landscape, initially thought to be complex, turns out to be even more intricate than anticipated.

"Kudos to the leaders of BJP, NC, and PDP for adeptly staging a compelling performance, consistently involving the public over years of apparent animosity through hate speeches. In reality, it was a scripted drama. The disclosure of their alliance and BJP joining PAGD introduces a fresh perspective to their political dynamics."

He also said that it's evident that a respected leader, honored with the highest civilian award, and his spouse recently joined PDP at Mufti Sahib's grave.

"However, considering their previous departure from PDP due to PDPs involvement in PAGD, questions arise about their justification for returning and officially becoming PAGD members."

He added it is clear now that it's influenced by BJP's membership in PAGD, but he is curious how would PDP and JKNC justify their partnership with BJP?

"Moreover, the expulsion of Nazir Ahmed Laway, a former member and Rajya Sabha MP from PDP, for meeting the Lt Governor raises questions because presently, a newly joined female PDP member at Mufti Sahib's grave holds a constitutional position, appearing alongside the Lt Governor in inaugurations and meetings. What distinguishes the current situation? And what is the reason of PDP acting mute like a spectator now?"

He said that the political dynamics are genuinely bewildering, and he anticipates facing repercussions for speaking the truth and seeking clarity from PDP, NC, and BJP officially though it's crystal clear now. "However, that won't deter me; I remain resolute and undeterred." (KNS)
