Jammu, July 11 (KNS): Former Member of Legislative Council, Surinder Singh Choudhary on Tuesday quit the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and is likely to join National Conference today.

Singh on his twitter handle announced the quit. “Gud bye BJP….Ravinder Raina enjoy with your parivharbad and corruption,” Singh tweeted.

Singh who joined BJP some eight months ago was considered a prominent face of BJP in Jammu region. Erstwhile he was associated with PDP. He was also a former MLC J&K.

Meanwhile sources disclosed to KNS that Singh will likely join National Conference in Jammu today. "After parting ways from BJP, Singh is likely to join NC in presence of Omar Abdullah at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan Jammu today," sources said. (KNS)
