Handwara, Oct 15 (KNS): Forest protection force department in collaboration with district hospital Handwara on Friday organised a blood donation camp at Machipora of Rajwar are of Handwara.

An official said that Dr Shah Jahan Wani, MO Ayush Unit District Hospital Handwara represented the District Hospital Handwara in a blood donation camp which was organised by the forest protection force at Machipora.

At this event Director of forest protection Director J Frankkoi was present.

He said that the event was conducted smoothly and in the end Dr Shah Jahan Wani elaborated the health benefits of medicinal and nutritional plants.

He also advised them to plant the nutritional plants so that the people in adjoining areas can take benefits.

He also spread awareness about the benefits of honey and mulberry.

“The Hospital administration is very thankful to the forest department for holding such events and the hospital strives to conducting many more events in the future.” (KNS)
