Srinagar January 04:(KNS) Government of India, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has initiated socio-economic profiling of street vendors and their families under Prime Ministers SVANidhi beneficiary scheme w.e.f 04-01-2021. In this regard all the street food vendors of District Srinagar are informed to register themselves under Food Safety & Standards Act by accessing Website https://foscos.fssai.gov.in or by approaching nearest CSC (Khidmat) Centre within 10 days so that the benefit of the scheme is availed by them. In a statement to “Kashmir News Service, Assistant Commissioner “Food and Safety, Hilal Ah Mir urged street food vendors to get themselves registered under “under Food Safety & Standards Act, he added.(KNS)
