Fire Service Personnel Injured in Baramulla Road Accident

 SRINAGAR, Feb 26(KNS): A driver of a fire tender from the Fire and Emergency Services, along with two other personnel, sustained injuries when their vehicle overturned while en route to extinguish a blaze at a residence in Kreeri, located in the north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

Official sources said that the driver and the two other employees of the Fire and Emergency Services station in Kreeri suffered injuries due to the vehicle skidding on a snow-covered road.

The injured people were identified as Ab Hameed Lone, son of Gh Mohi ud Din Lone, Mohd Ashraf, and Azhar us Din.

He said that the accident occurred as they were responding to a fire incident, resulting in damage to a residential house.

"Despite the mishap, the fire was eventually brought under control by the Fire and Emergency Service station in Kachwa Muqam, with assistance from locals, as the fire tender from Kreeri was unable to reach the scene due to the accident on the way to Durhama," the official sources added.(KNS).
