FCIK supports crusher association demands: Shahid Kamli


Srinagar, Nov 13 (KNS): Federation Chamber Of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) endorses and supports the issues raised by State Crushers Owners Association (SCOA) delegaton led by Randhawa with the Honrable Lt Governor regarding the problems faced by them while carrying out their activities.
President FCIK Shahid Kamili in a statement issued to KNS said that the association in its meeting conducted with the advisor Baseer Khan had brought the issue into notice of chairperson and had suggested that the SRO 302 of 2017 should be given the prospective effect so that the units formally registered with the industries department before the commencement of the said SRO can carry on with their activities with out any hurdles inposed by line depatments under the garb of said sro . More so the stone Crushers are facing difficulty on carrying out their activities as no legal source of raw material is available since 2017 . As a result, the units are on the verge of closure. The owners of the units are being treated like drug peddlers by the various administrative departments. Stone crushing activity is a need based activity and all our infrastractul development .public or private is impossible without it.There are round about 800 regigtered units in UT withan everage of Rs 5 crore investment per unit and an employment of 30 per unit.Lt Governor was requested to kindly take serious notice of the issue and redress the issue.
Fcik has assured stone crusher units of every help and support and assured to resolve this issue .
President FCIK Shahid Kamili said that we are taking up this issue of stone crushers at the highest level
These all are under MSME sector
In action of Govt has promoted illegal mining and loss to the exchequer
Fcik has taken a very strong protest that for the first time director geology minning did not bother to come to kashmir to address this burning issue.
