Srinagar, Feb 15(KNS): Putting a full stop on speculations, Dr Farooq Abdullah Thursday said National Conference won't go for pre-poll alliance ahead of Parliamentary elections. He was responding to media persons at Nawa-e-Subh Srinagar.
"As far as seat sharing is concerned I want to clear that NC won't go for pre-poll alliance ahead of Parliamentary elections," he said and added, "There is no second thought in it".
Dr. Farooq hoped that both Parliamentary elections and Assembly elections may took place simultaneously.
On ED summons, he replied that NC is firm on its stand will never succumb before the tactics. "If they think NC will finish with the arrest of Dr. Farooq Abdullah then they are wrong. I am going to appear before ED soon," he said.
He held that during Umrah he prayed for peace and tranquility in Jammu and Kashmir. "I prayed for peace and tranquility for Jammu and Kashmir. I also prayed that may our neighbor understand the importance of peace as it is inevitable to live a peaceful life," he added. (KNS)
