Every Section of society badly affected due to different experiments by BJP govt in J&K: Ghulam Ahmad Mir

Jammu February 13:(KNS)  JKPCC Chief Ghulam Ahmad Mir accompanied by JKPCC Working President Raman Bhalla on Saturday accused ruling BJP Govt of adopting anti-people policies that have ruined every strata of society in J&K. He  said farmers, employees, traders, youth were all suffering under the present government.BJP government is playing with autonomy of Institutions  by interfering in their working. He said the issue of inflation and rising prices of essential commodities has made life of common man miserable. The life of poor and middle class families has become difficult today due to inflation.
 
According tp a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS), This was stated by him while addressing party workers meeting at Dayalachak area of Kathua organized by Distt President Kathua Pankaj Dogra.  Prominent among those present on the occasion include JKPCC General Secretary Manmohan Singh,  Ex.  Speaking on the occasion, Mir claimed that people in Jammu and Kashmir are not happy with the draft delimitation commission report and lashed out at BJP over its alleged anti-people policies and "dividing the country on communal lines.When the government has no developmental agenda to show to the public, they use such diversionary tactics to hoodwink the people. 
 
Criticising the policies of the BJP-led government, he said "we regret snatching the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir and transforming it into a Union Territory. They talked about Naya Kashmir, normalcy and development. We do not see the development on the ground, while frequent militant attacks expose their claims of normalcy.Claiming the growing unemployment in the country, the Congress leader said J&K is one of the regions which tops the list with 22 percent unemployment as a result of which you can see the protesting youth on the roads every now and then.
 
Mir exhorted the cadre to further strengthen its rank and file to meet the challenges faced to Jammu and Kashmir unitedly and by upholding the cherished philosophy of communal and regional amity. He also urged the cadre to reach out to the people in a big way so that all the problems are surmounted with courage and resilience. Asserting that the Congress is not against the delimitation process in Jammu and Kashmir, he said the method adopted, however, is not in tandem with the procedure. Meanwhile Mir expressed grave concern over the withdrawal of security cover to several top leaders of the party including former ministers and legislators and senior functionaries on discriminatory basis exposing them to the nefarious designs of  terrorist and international forces, whereas the ruling leaders and other favorite have more than adequate security.
 
Mir further said that BJP is only making hollow promises as every section of the society has been affected by the policies of the Modi-led government over the past seven years. They failed to transfer promised money and create two crore jobs annually. The statistics show that 23 crore people lost their jobs and 700 farmers died during anti-agri law agitation, while only Rs 50 lakh compensation was given to people hit by Covid-19," he said.He said they only know how to blame Congress for its failures. He said common man has been suffering due to mis-governance of Central Government and people want a change now. He said BJP has failed on all fronts. Price hike remains uncontrolled, unemployment reached its peak and anti employees, anti traders, anti poor people politics of the BJP have proved devastating.
 
Mir further said that after BJP’s historical blunders in J&K, the situation has gone from bad to worse with the common man feeling choked due to anti-people policies of the BJP Govt. He said that BJP’s promise to regularize the services of all daily wagers casual, adhoc, contractual and other temporary employees with different nomenclatures but failed to fulfill the same thus proving beyond doubt that this Govt is a ‘Jumla Sarkar’. He urged the people to join Congress party in its endeavor to defeat the policies of BJP Govt.He said that youth of J&K have been the worst victim of the wrong policies of the BJP Govt. He rued that the tall promises and claims made by those in governance at the Centre have proved totally hoax with unemployment graph showing an increase with each passing day and terrorists still calling the shots especially in the Valley. He appealed to the youth to get united and teach BJP a lesson in the forthcoming Assembly elections in J&K.(KNS
