Srinagar, June 16 (KNS): Encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Jumagund area near the Line of Control in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Friday.
Kashmir zone police, in a Tweet, as per Kashmir News Service (KNS) said that following inputs of Kupwara police encounter started between militants and security forces in Jumagund area.
Police said that further details will be shared accordingly.
“An #encounter has started between #terrorists and joint parties of Army & Police on a specific input of Kupwara Police in Jumagund area of LoC of #Kupwara district. Further details shall follow,” police tweeted. (KNS)
