Srinagar, April 19 (KNS): An encounter started between militants and security forces in Zeipora area of South Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday.

According to reports that a joint team of Police and army launched a cordon and search operation in Zeipora area of Shopian

As the security forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding militants fired upon the forces, ensuing a gunfight.
