Karnah, May 27 (KNS): An elderly man died on Thursday after he slipped from a high altitude in a forest area of Kindayaran Naad in Karnah north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
According to Kashmir News Service (KNS), an elderly man identified as Mond Akbar Sheikh son of Abdul Rehman Sheikh, a resident of Hajinar Karnah had gone to fetch firewood from a nearby forest area where he slipped from a mountain, resulting in his on-spot death.
Earlier elderly women of a nearby village slipped to death, meanwhile, the incident has sent shock waves across the whole village.(KNS)
