Employees Joint Consultative Committee in a press statement expressed grief on the sad demise of Sanaullah Dar Resident of Seloo Sopore. Dar a 45 year old employee of Power Development Department (PDD) was electrocuted to death on Monday morning in Yaseen Colony Arampora Sopore in north Kashmir's Baramulla district.
In his statement to KNS Khalid Mehmood Khan Chief Spokesperson EJCC conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and has requested Secretary PDD, Chief Engineer PDD and Deputy Commissioner Baramulla to initiate an enquiry in the incident in which Sanaullah Dar while repairing High volt 11000 KV line at Yaseen colony Arampora received an electric shock and died on the spot. Chief Spokesperson of EJCC has also demanded a high level enquiry be conducted in the rise of cases wherein the poor Employees of PDD have lost their life in the line of duty. (KNS)
