Srinagar, June 14(KNS): Mohammad Hussain was unanimously elected as the president of Jammu and Kashmir people's movement (JKPM), by the members of the executive committee in a meeting held at Jammu.
A spokesperson of the party in a statement issued to Kashmir News Service (KNS) has said that in a significant development today Dr Mohammad Hussain was unanimously elected as the president of JKPM by the members of the executive committee in a meeting held at Jammu.He further said the meeting was attended by Mr.Mohd Ramzan, Dr M Hussain, S Tejinder Singh Papi, Mr Rohit Sharma and Advocate Bisat Khan physically while Mr Prabat Sharma,rSheikh mtiyaz Alam,Mr Mohd Ashraf Tantray and Mr H.S.Singh joined the meeting on virtual mode and after threadbare deliberations all the member reposed their confidence in the leadership of Dr M Hussain to lead the party as it's president.
The members expressed their hope that Dr Hussain being a young and energetic person will meet their aspirations and prove his metal and lead the party during the present political scenario in Jammu and Kashmir in a descent and proper way whileas Dr Hussain also assured the members of the Executive Committee that he will leave no stone unturned in strenghing the party at grassoot level.(KNS).
