Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNS): J&K government on Thursday appointed Dr. Nazir A. Ganai as Vice Chancellor of Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agriculture Sciences & Technology, Kashmir (SKUAST).

An order issued by the Chancellor of SKUAST-K, LG Manoj Sinha on Thursday reads: Meanwhile, society of Veterinary Scientists and Academicians (SVSA) takes pride in congratulating Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai as he is the first Kashmiri Veterinarian appointed as Vice Chancellor SKUAST- Kashmir. 

A statement by them reads that, "This new appointment is remarkable, an honor and a testament to your worth. We at Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Shuhama are excited, pleased and simply thrilled on your selection as VC SKUAST- Kashmir."

"We SVSA will not miss this opportunity to thank Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha who is also Chancellor of SKUAST- Kashmir for appointing Prof. Nazir Ahmad Ganai as new Vice Chancellor of SKUAST-Kashmir." (KNS)
