Srinagar, October 25 (KNS): Vice-Chairperson, KVIB Dr. Hina Shafi Bhat on Tuesday presided a performance review meeting of J&K KVIB Kashmir division at Sanat Ghar Bemina here.
During the meeting the VC, KVIB appreciated the overall performance of districts viz. generation of implementation employment programs. She directed District Officers (DOs) to process the cases in a time bound manner so that employment opportunities are created for educated unemployed youth and artisans.
The VC, KVIB was informed that as on date margin money of Rs. 44.04 Cr have been released to 2168 unit holders thereby creating employment opportunities for 13008 persons in current financial year.
Dr. Bhat enjoined on officers of the Board to work with zeal and zest in order to provide employment opportunities to educated unemployed youth. She further stressed for creation of ecosystem which shall pave way for creation of micro enterprises by the people belonging to the cross-sections of the society like women etc.
The meeting was also attended by Dy. CEO KVIB, Kashmir division and district officers of KVIB Kashmir. (KNS)
