Srinagar  Aug 29 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President and Member of the Parliament from Srinagar Dr. Farooq Abdullah and Vice President Omar Abdullah have expressed profound grief over the demise of Imam Asar-e-Sharif Dargah, Hazratbal Moulana Syed Ahmad Farooqi sahib. 

In their condolence message, the duo termed the demise  of Imam Asar-e-Sharif Dargah Hazratbal Moulana Sayeed Ahmed Farooqi sahib a great loss for the society. They said the deceased will be remembered for his insightful knowledge on matters of theology and spirituality. The duo prayed for peace to the departed soul in the highest echelons of Jannat & much required fortitude to the bereaved household at this difficult time. 

Meanwhile party general secretary Ali Muhammad Sagar, additional general secretary Sheikh Mustafa Kamaal, Provincial President Nasir Aslam Wani, Chief Spokesperson Tanvir Sadiq, District President Peer Afaq Ahmed, YNC Provincial President Kashmir Salman Ali Sagar, Senior functionary of District Srinagar Dr. Syed and others visited the bereaved family to offer sympathies and condolences to them on their inconsolable loss.
