Don’t pay school fee till government decision arrives. Let Government form a FastTrack Resolution Committee for redressal.: Parents Association*

Srinagar, July 1:(KNS) Parents Association of Privately Administered Schools (PAPAS) on Wednesday appealed all the parents not to pay fees till final decision from the government comes. The Association appealed the parents of students studying in private schools not to pay fees till the issue is resolved by Private Schools. They further added that Private School Associations have backtracked on their commitments which amounts to ditching the whole society. They have failed teh expectations of the affected class which is very unfortunate.

Coordinator, Parents of Private Schools Association, Mohsin Goni in a statement issued to KNS, that Private School owners have turned to capitalist mindset and they are not ready to appreciate the concerns of the affected lot even in these TURBULENT times. Regarding the recent orders which PSAJK wants to get implemented, PAPAS are of opinion that all the previous orders from Government and Courts should be implemented in sequence. Not just those orders which are benificial to schools. Firstly, they should pay back extra money which they have taken by flouting FFC orders in broad daylight by hiking fees and taking unapproved annual and Admission fees.
“The salaries of the staff are always taken up by the schools as a tactic to emotionally blackmail the government and parents as well. We ask the government that if the parents have been cooperating with the schools since August 2019 by paying full fee, why the schools this time can’t waive off the fee for the pandemic period,” Goni told.(KNS)
