Srinagar January 11 (KNS): District Mountaineering Association Srinagar conducted an election of district body for office bearers and executive members under the supervision of Fayaz Ahmad Bhat businessman and a reputed social worker of the area at Athwajan Srinagar. Mr Syed Mohammad Hussain president District Mountaineering Association Pulwama was observer in the elections. Representatives from different clubs of the district took part in the elction process.
The objective of making this association is to promote a sense of responsiblity, qualities of leadership, nature study developement, human relations and preservation of the environment among the young generation. Voting was held and members present there showed great enthusiasm in electing the dedicated team for the developement of advanture sports in the district. All the members were unanimously elected unopposed.The candidates who were declared sucessful in the elections include:

Syed Mohammad Hussain President District Mountaineering Association of Pulwama thanked all the elected body members for participating in the elections and requested them to work with great zeal and interest for the upliftment of advanture sports in the district.
