Srinagar, August 06 (KNS) : Director Sericulture Development Department, J&K, Ajaz Ahmad Bhat, IAS, thursday chaired a comprehensive review meeting at his office chamber at Tulsi Bagh, Srinagar, to assess the ongoing activities and overall progress of the Department.

The meeting reviewed the status of Cocoon Auction Markets organized or proposed to be organized during the current year, along with the physical and financial progress achieved under CAPEX and HADP.

Progress under Silk Samagra-II for the financial years 2021-22, 2023-24, 2024-25 and 2025-26 also came under detailed review, reflecting the Department's continued focus on effective implementation of key sericulture development initiatives.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

During the meeting, the Director stressed the importance of timely submission of requisite information and inputs by the concerned officers. He also emphasized close monitoring of various departmental programmes and schemes to ensure their effective implementation and sustained progress.

The meeting was attended by senior officers of the Sericulture Development Department, including Additional Directors, Development Officers, Project Executive Officers, Deputy Director Planning & Statistics, Accounts Officer and District Sericulture Officers/Managers Seeds.
