Srinagar December 09 (KNS):  Ahmad Bhat (IAS), Director Sericulture Dev. Department J&K paid a surprise visit to the office of Principal Sericulture Training Institute Srinagar, District Sericulture Office, Sericulture Dev. Department Central Division Srinagar and District Sericulture Office, Sericulture Dev. Department, Budgam.

During his visit the Director, Sericulture J&K while checking the attendance of employees working in the said establishments exhorted upon them to work with dedication and share their technical expertise with the silkworm rearers so that they may produce good quality cocoons and bumper crop.

The Director, Sericulture Dev. Department J&K further advised the employees to work relentlessly for achieving cocoon production targets and gear-up for ensuing rearing season.  He emphasised upon all the field functionaries working in both the establishments to adopt a proactive approach while carrying out technical activities in the Mulberry Farms/Nurseries of the Department.(KNS)
