Srinagar 13 May (KNS): Director Agriculture Production & Farmers Welfare Department Kashmir Chowdhary Mohammad Iqbal has extended hearty greetings to the people especially officers/officials of the Agriculture Department on the auspicious occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr.
In his felicitation message, Chowdhary Iqbal has prayed that the Eid-ul-Fitr may prove a harbinger of peace and prosperity in the world.
While greeting the officers/officials of the Department on the auspicious occasion Chowdhary Iqbal has appealed to observe this festival with utmost simplicity and austerity in view of the prevailing situation arising out of Covid-19 pandemic. He has made fervent appeal to the officers/officials of the Department to reach out to the poor and needy on this auspicious religious festival to enable them also to celebrate the Eid festival.
Director Agriculture asked the officers of the Department to ensure timely and hassle-free availability of different agriculture inputs, (Seeds, Fertilizers, Pesticides etc.) technical guidance to the farmers and work in close coordination so that the farmers interests could be safeguarded during these testing times.
He also appealed to follow covid-19 SOPs in letter and spirit for their safety and the safety of their loved ones.(KNS)
