Baramulla, October 01(KNS): Department of Information and Public Relations Baramulla condoles the sudden demise of Rising Kashmir's correspondent Javeed Ahmad who passed away today morning due to cardiac arrest.

In this connection, a condolence meeting was convened in DIPR office Baramulla under the chairmanship of District Information Officer Mudassir H Choudhary wherein deep sorrow and grief was expressed over the demise.

DIO, in his address said that his death is a great loss to the society as the deceased played a leading role in highlighting the local public issues in his outlet. He also offered his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and courage for the bereaved family to bear the huge loss.(KNS)
